Dr. Sandeep Anandrao Mali, born on July 15, 1977, in Kundal, Sangli, Maharashtra, is a distinguished leader in the co-operative sector and a committed social entrepreneur. He is the Founder Chairman of Janseva Nagri Sahakari Patsanstha Ltd., Kundal, Chairman of Sharad Multistate Co-Op Credit Society Ltd., Satara, Founder Chairman of Janseva Charitable Trust, Kundal, and serves as a Director at the Maharashtra State Co-Operative Credit Societies Federation Ltd., Mumbai. Driven by a vision to empower small traders, laborers, and self-help groups, he has dedicated his life to providing financial assistance, promoting financial literacy, and freeing communities from the burden of exploitative money-lenders.
Dr. Mali’s remarkable contributions have earned him widespread recognition. He was awarded a Doctorate in Rural Co-operative Finance by Commonwealth Vocational University, Bangkok, and received the International Award for Co-operative Business Management Excellence. It provides comprehensive financial services, including savings and deposit facilities, collateral-based loans, vehicle loans, insurance coverage, and home delivery banking. The Patsanstha also offers specialized schemes for senior citizens, army personnel, and freedom fighters, with deposit rates higher than most regional institutions. Currently, it manages deposits exceeding ₹126 Crores and has disbursed loans up to ₹80 Crores while maintaining total business 300 cr and a zero percent NPA rate.
Beyond finance, Dr. Mali has integrated social welfare into the organization’s core mission. The Patsanstha has actively supported flood relief operations, blood donation drives, book exhibitions, health camps, and Anganwadi programs.
