Lov Momoz began its modest journey in 2019 under the vision of its founder, Bibhas, who started the brand from street-side carts in Cuttack. Just when recovery seemed possible, the brand faced another unexpected challenge: the dismantling of one of its outlets due to a sudden change in rented property ownership. For many new entrepreneurs, such disruptions might have marked the end of the journey. But he, a young B.Com graduate driven by an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, responded with resilience. Instead of stepping back, he rebuilt the business with renewed vigour, motivated by a desire to create something distinctive and lasting.
The revival of Lov Momoz was nothing short of remarkable. Within a short span, the brand expanded rapidly, opening three new stores across Cuttack. The first was launched in Mahanadi Vihar as a takeaway outlet in March 2021, marking the beginning of its post-pandemic resurgence. This was followed by a dine-in outlet in CDA Sector-13 in July 2022, which helped elevate the brand’s identity from a street-side venture to a more formal culinary establishment. Continuing the momentum, a third store was opened in CDA Sector-10 in October 2024, further solidifying Lov Momoz’s presence in the city.
Building on its strong regional acceptance, Lov Momoz set its sights on new markets. In October 2025, the brand proudly inaugurated its fourth outlet—a full-fledged dine-in restaurant in Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar. This expansion into the capital city marked an important milestone, signalling the brand’s transition from a local favourite to a growing state-level contender. The new outlet not only expanded the customer base but also enhanced the brand’s visibility and market credibility, paving the way for future scaling opportunities.
Beyond its primary food service operations, he has also diversified into the manufacturing sector by producing healthy powdered cereal mixes for babies and adults. This venture reflects a strong commitment to health, wellness, and product innovation. By investing in packaged food production alongside restaurant operations, he aims to build a broader ecosystem of health-oriented offerings that cater to families across age groups.
Today, Lov Momoz stands as a testament to perseverance, innovation, and customer-centric values. The brand is actively developing franchise opportunities and planning for pan-India expansion, driven by a mission to deliver consistently high-quality food at prices accessible to everyone.
